Last week was a great one, with a new addition to my maternal family, a gift of chocolates and a former homeroom's wedding. I can't stress enough how happy I was to see all my friends again. They haven't changed at all, and spending time with them was gold. Glad we weren't getting rusty and awkward just yet, since we talked about our current lives. For me, life will be the same as it is for a while. That is, my fate will be decided by the university I'm applying to. I literally check my application status every day, wondering when they will update it.
My cousin just bought my grandma a dog. She was initially named 'Tart' (as in cakes) after the name of the cousin who gave it to her. My grandpa changed her name to Desi (I'm not sure how it's spelled, but it's pronounced like so). And yes, she is a chihuahua! She was so tiny I couldn't believe it. I hadn't seen a chihuahua in awhile, the last time was the one that belonged to my friend Josie. Hers is male, so I've been discussing with her about possible marriage plans. Hahaha I kid :)
She has clothes, yes. She has a bed with a canopy too. And a tiny pink wardrobe full of clothes that cost more than human clothes. I was told that she changes her clothes twice a day. Here she wore a pink dress with black-and-white polkadot trims, complete with a pearl necklace. My aunt painted her nails with red nail polish.
She wsa playing around with her pearl necklace, spinning it around and around so that the red bell on it made little sounds. She looked like she was having fun but it kinda looked pretty heavy for her little neck.
Pickpocketing my mom! She got more and more hyper, until she went sniffing everywhere :P She also left her DNA on our floor, in the form of a tiny puddle. At least she turned her back on us house owners while responding to her call of nature. Hahaha :3
Chocolate :9 I love chocolate, but I'm not a crazy chocoholic who needs a dose of it every day. This tin was a gift from the visit, and is called the Precious collection, made for the 100th anniversary of the praline. It came with a little book which shows the historical timeline of the praline, also the details and sketches of every chocolate's design in the box. I never knew that Neuhaus made the first praline!
My parents were reluctant to eat it when we found out about the price :X Gotta make them last. I haven't actually tried out all the flavours, only Divine (the ones that are completely hemispherical), Jade (the ones that look like teardrops) and Perle (the ones with a chocolate pearl in the middle). Out of these three, I loved Perle the most. The coffee inside it was amazing! The ones I have yet to taste are Rubis (the rectangular ones) and Glamour (the cube-shaped ones, but they look like diamonds in this picture). I'm not sure if they're the best I've ever tasted, but they do taste really good. What's the name of the best chocolate you've ever tasted? I would love to know :)
To top the week off, I attended my former homeroom teacher's wedding at a church with my friends. My friend Josie stood out with a snakeskin top, long jeans and flip flops. She is special in the way that she brings her laidback personality wherever she goes, no matter the formality of the event. Haha! ;D Our teacher was rather awkward with her troublesome-looking dress, but the audience just giggled it off. We headed to a mall with a few of my former classmates, and then headed off to another mall with Pink Princess, my friend/neighbour. I was a tiring day and boy, was I glad I didn't wear heels.
